Dick Karnes and I were chatting one day and he came back at me with this one on
Jerry Perkins.
"Jerry did a couple of covers for the NASG Dispatch when I was editor. His artwork is excellent. His dad Paul asked me to write him a recommendation for a particular Seattle high school which had a program for gifted young artists, and I was happy to do so."

I'm not sure of how many sketches Jerry did for the DISPATCH. But I found it quite interesting in my meeting Jerry 15 years later. Then at a LVSG meeting in August 2003, Jerry expressed a desire to go back to art school to fulfill his dream of becoming an artist.
